1989
Action Signs is born. Neil Kelly working from his home in Harrow started work in an industry that he had great affection for. He had taken a 6-year break from the sign world, gaining valuable marketing and management experience.

1990
Due to the recession, 1990 Proved to be a difficult year to grow a business admist the declining market.

1991
In the face of economic recovery, Action Signs Employed its first full time employee, Wendy Clarke.

1992
Action Signs launches its trade service, offering the latest design and manufacturing facilities to traditional sign writers.

1993
Investment in larger equipment forces expansion to bigger location.

1994
Workforce increases to cope with the rise in repeat orders and new business.

1995
The first MC1300 Wide Format Plotter is installed to cope with the rising demand in computer cut graphics.

1996
Manufacturing expands and is moved to workshop in Roxeth Green Avenue.

1997
Not much happened this year, but the Verve, Teletubbies, Gary Barlow all had number one hits!

1998
Investment into new equipment expands garment printing and embroidery service.

1999
In October we were handed the keys to our new premises and began refurbishment. The new high street showroom is found at 398 Northolt Road.

2000
March celebrates the celebrity opening of the new premises. Combining Manufacturing with our showroom and offices.

Purchase of first digital printing equipment increase list of in-house services offered to clients.

2002
New installation vehicle is added to the fleet and is kitted out to offer better in-house installation and on-site maintenance service.

2003
Our unique "Customer Design Station" is unveiled offering the latest computer aided design software in a customer friendly environment.

2004
Re-structuring takes place and new management team created to facilitate expansion program.

2005
February we celebrate over 15 years in business and to mark the occasion the new look website is launched giving faster access to a larger portfolio of sample work.
